One Block Wonder

I've seen many One Block Wonder quilts; one was Halloween fabric, one roses etc, but I love this butterfly one.

I love the King Tut variegated threads, here in a purple, red blend.
So fine thread in the bobbin.
I used a feather pantograph.

Framed 4-patch

Isn't this a bright and cheerful quilt? The piecer's first big quilt!

I used a variegated King Tut thread on the top; Harem. The bottom is a pink so fine. The quilting hardly show on the front but with the pink thread it shows up on the back. It is a pantograph with butterflies and flowers.

Night and Day

Fabulous quilt! I used 3 colors of Isacord thread on this. Ribbons in the stars and the yellow border. Feathers in the white and the big triangles. The back is navy, the same as the navy in the front but the color didn't turn out right.

Thimbleberry Panel

Isn't this a sweet panel and framed just right by the piecer.

Quilted with 'Windbown'. Stone variegated king tut thread with beige in bobbin. Polyester batting.

Jars of Bugs

Isn't this a fun quilt? Not sure I could sleep under it though. This is a heavy polyester batting and the quilting shows up great, on the front anyway.
Dragonfly pantograph. Gray variegated King Tut thread, solid gray on back.

Where did the quilting go? It's there I promise and actually visible in real life.

Basket weave or fairy in a basket

This basket weave made from jelly roll was made for a new baby. I love the soft colors and simplicity of the design.

Individual motifs of a Fairy holding a flower in each block. In each row of blocks the motif is reversed; and the fairies alternate colors; green and cream.
The border is my curling feather and I used Isacord thread.

Pink hands

A birthday present. I outlined the hands and did crosshatching behind them. (One friend told me that she couldn't be paid enough to do crosshatching.....it isn't that bad, a bit time consuming but it looks really great.)
I can't see the quilting here at all, but I really did quilt it.

A grandson's hand print.
Bordered with feathers. All quilted with Isacord thread which is shiny and looks great here.

baby quilt

This turned out looking so good quilted. I love the spotty fabric she used in here, she got it at Hancock's...(they are out, I checked.)
The quilting is a panto of Noah's ark. Perfect.

Here you can see part of the panto. I'll certainly use that again and again.
