Eagle Quilt

My friend was pretty clear about what she wanted for the design of her son's Eagle quilt. We sat at my computer and using EQ7 hashed out the details for a couple hours until we got a plan she was happy with. She went home and pieced it in record time. Then got it to me to quilt in time for her son's Eagle Court of Honor.
It's quilted with simple loops and stars. The quilt is beautiful. The merit badges in the center of half the stars are badges he earned. There is fabric with a lot of merit badges printed on it and she machine appliqued them on. She does beautiful work.
It's so neat to work on other's beautiful quilts. Thank-you Lisa!

What a marvelous remembrance for this young man and all his work. My son became an eagle scout 15 plus years ago. But remember iaall the years of work. I have memories of being my brother's guinea pig for all his first aid badge requirements! Scouting is such a cool thing for boys and their families
