Sampler

I got to do an all-over feather on this sampler. It turned out great! It is wonderful when the piecing is done so well and then the quilting enhances it.
I love the look of these feathers and enjoy making them.
Pale pink 'so fine' thread showed up great on the back and not too dominate on the front.

Color Block

I somehow overlooked posting about this quilt last year.I believe it is the second one of these I've had help making.
Quilted with loops and leaves.
The back was a neat piano fabric I was given.

Luke's t-shirt quilt

I forgot to get a close-up of the quilting. It's freehand contours about 1.5 inches apart. Made for Texas A&M bound senior.

Towards the bottom I quilted Luke twice, once forward and then backwards. The backwards one was placed in the solid red on the back so it is easy to read (it is forward on the back.) The forward one is hard to find since I didn't put the letters together or keep them the same size.

'Old' Dresden Plate

These old blocks were put together by me for a friend. The blocks were sewn and appliqued by her grandmother and are fabulous. I used reproduction fabric for the sashing and the border. I love how it turned out.
Isacord thread, cream.
Digital design and hand guided on the plates.

Christmas Library

This is my quilt. Trying to use some of my old Christmas fabrics and strips. This used up all my 1.5 inch wide strips that were leftover from my 3 Christmas log cabins.
The label has space for the grandkids to sign as they sleep under it.
